University Driver – Safe Transport for Senior Officials

About the role

UIT University is seeking a reliable Driver to provide safe and professional transportation for senior officials, faculty, and staff. The role involves operating the university vehicle for meetings, events, and other official appointments while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the assigned university vehicle safely, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Plan and follow efficient travel routes, considering traffic conditions and time constraints.
• Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness, routine checks, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist officials with loading and unloading personal belongings, documents, and other items as needed.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Uphold confidentiality regarding officials’ schedules and sensitive information.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the reporting head.

Required profile

• Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanor.
• Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of sitting.
