About the role

Lead Local is a sales and digital marketing automation company that helps businesses streamline lead generation and customer engagement. It is hiring a full-time remote Upwork Bidder & Business Development Specialist who identifies relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms, writes tailored proposals and follows up with potential clients to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms and craft tailored proposals.
• Follow up with potential clients to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Conduct market and client research and qualify leads.
• Coordinate discovery calls and collaborate with internal teams so proposals match service offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach and bid performance.
• Optimize bidding strategies using analytics and support long-term client relationships to drive recurring business.

Required profile

• Experience in lead generation, including prospecting on freelance platforms and qualifying potential clients.
• Background in sales, business development or digital marketing services is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple bids and meet deadlines consistently.

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate project requirements, bidding performance and market trends.
• Excellent communication for writing proposals and handling client messaging.
• Proficiency with Upwork or similar freelancing platforms and CRM or tracking tools.
