Urologist – Full‑time Clinical Position

About the role

The Urologist will join Irfan General & Teaching Hospital to deliver comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for adult and pediatric urological patients. This full‑time, on‑site position involves outpatient consultations, inpatient management and emergency services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, order and interpret investigations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform a range of urologic procedures, including open, minimally invasive and, where applicable, robotic surgeries.
• Supervise and teach medical trainees, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency or fellowship in Urology and current registration with the relevant medical council.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing adult and pediatric urological conditions and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, patient safety and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in open urologic surgeries.
• Experience with minimally invasive urologic procedures.
• Knowledge of robotic surgery techniques (advantageous).
• Specialized interest or training in pediatric urology.
