US Tax Preparer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced US Tax Preparer to manage federal and multi‑state tax compliance for WebLife’s portfolio of US businesses. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate, timely filings while identifying compliance risks and tax‑saving opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review US federal income tax returns across multiple entities.
• Manage multi‑state income, franchise, sales and use tax filings.
• Track nexus requirements and economic nexus thresholds.
• Research tax matters, identify compliance risks, and flag potential tax‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain tax calendars and ensure filing deadlines are met.
• Support tax audits and interactions with tax authorities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on US federal tax preparation and compliance experience.
• Experience working with US clients through a US CPA firm, Big 4, offshore tax team, or similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• EA strongly preferred; CPA or equivalent US tax qualification also considered.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of US federal and multi‑state tax requirements.
• Experience with tax preparation and accounting software.
• Analytical, communication and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
