Vice President, Technical

About the role

The Vice President – Technical will lead the end‑to‑end technical and manufacturing agenda for a leading food & beverage company in Pakistan. Reporting to the CEO, this executive will drive operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability across multiple processing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term Technical & Manufacturing strategy aligned with growth, profitability and sustainability goals.
• Lead manufacturing operations across several food processing facilities, ensuring safe, efficient and cost‑effective production.
• Drive productivity improvement, asset optimization, cost reduction and lean manufacturing practices.
• Partner with senior leadership on capacity planning, supply‑chain resilience, investments and business expansion.
• Oversee engineering, maintenance and reliability strategies to maximize plant uptime.
• Manage major CAPEX projects from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring ROI and timely execution.
• Accelerate digital transformation through automation, AI, IoT, robotics, predictive maintenance and digital manufacturing systems.
• Ensure world‑class quality, food safety, occupational health and environmental compliance.
• Build and lead a high‑performing technical organization with succession planning and capability development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or an MBA is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering or technical leadership within the food & beverage or related industrial sector.
