Warehouse, Supply Chain and Logistics Manager

About the role

The Catalyst Group is hiring a Warehouse, Supply Chain and Logistics Manager for one of Pakistan's largest and most premium event management companies. The manager oversees warehouse operations, inventory management, sourcing coordination and event logistics so that materials and equipment are available, delivered and returned on time. The role works closely with production, client servicing, design, Accounts, suppliers and other internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations and keep accurate inventory records for decor, furniture, equipment and event materials.
• Allocate stock across simultaneous events, identify shortages and coordinate sourcing, rentals and replenishment.
• Source materials, evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate terms and obtain purchasing approvals.
• Manage deliveries and event-wise dispatches, coordinating vehicles, drivers and handling teams to meet venue and setup timelines.
• Maintain records of stock issuance, transfers, deliveries and returns, including handovers and condition checks.
• Reconcile inventory after each event, investigate missing or damaged items and ensure timely returns of rented equipment.
• Conduct stock counts and coordinate cleaning, repairs and preventive maintenance of inventory.
• Supervise warehouse and loading teams, monitor supplier performance, transport costs and asset losses, and ensure safe handling practices.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in warehousing, inventory management, supply chain or logistics, with team supervision experience.
• Experience in events, exhibitions, hospitality, rentals, production or a similar industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events, time-sensitive deliveries and changing operational requirements.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, supplier coordination, negotiation and cost-control skills.
• Willingness to travel to warehouses and event sites and to work flexible hours around event schedules.
• A qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations or a related field is preferred; practical experience is essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency in spreadsheets and inventory management systems.
• Experience supervising warehouse staff, transport teams and material handling operations.
