Accounts Officer – Banking & Financial Management

About the role

The Accounts Officer will support Atee & Co’s financial operations by maintaining accurate books, handling banking instruments and ensuring smooth cash flow. The role focuses on precise record‑keeping, bank coordination and assistance to management in financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date company books of accounts and petty‑cash records.
• Prepare, issue and reconcile cheques, pay orders and demand drafts.
• Coordinate with banks to facilitate transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank statements with internal records on a regular basis.
• Assist management in preparing financial reports and documentation.
• Support audit processes by providing required financial data promptly.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal financial procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in accounting or banking operations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent handwritten documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
