Assistant Manager Payroll & HR Ops

About the role

The Assistant Manager Payroll & HR Ops will ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data, payroll, and benefits throughout the employee lifecycle. This position acts as the custodian of compliance, audit‑readiness, and workforce data governance for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and activate employee master data (CNIC, salary, designation, bank details, dependents, emergency contacts) during onboarding.
• Set up new hires across HRMS, payroll, medical insurance, provident fund, EOBI, and other benefit platforms.
• Run monthly payroll in PKR, processing salaries, commissions, deductions, taxes, and adjustments while validating commission submissions.
• Administer benefits programs (Provident Fund, EOBI, health insurance, OPD, fuel, etc.), handling eligibility, enrollment, claims, and annual limits.
• Maintain audit readiness for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with labor law, taxation, EOBI, and company policies.
• Track workforce metrics such as attrition, headcount, compensation trends, and payroll fluctuations to support planning.
• Manage end‑to‑end offboarding, processing final settlements, statutory dues, and removal from all payroll and benefit systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in payroll processing and HR operations, preferably in a mid‑to‑large organization.
• Hands‑on experience with an HRMS platform and payroll systems.
• Solid understanding of Pakistan labour law, EOBI regulations, provident fund administration, and statutory compliance.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data reconciliation, audits, and reporting.
