Category Specialist - Home Care & Disposables

About the role

We are looking for a Category Specialist to support the Category Manager in driving buying and merchandising strategies for Home Care & Disposables. The role will focus on achieving commercial KPIs, ensuring product availability and supporting supplier development across our wholesale network in Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Category Manager in implementing buying and merchandising strategies and achieving commercial KPIs (sales, margin, etc.).
• Source products, develop suppliers and ensure 100% shelf availability through proactive supply‑chain management.
• Conduct regular market and competitor surveys and respond quickly to market shifts.
• Collaborate with the sales team for B2B customer development and with store operations for in‑store merchandising.
• Manage end‑to‑end promotions, including price finalisation, stock follow‑up, shelf execution and post‑promo analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tendering and negotiation SOPs and maintain audit records such as tenders, price confirmations and supplier listings.
• Initiate new projects for home‑care categories to drive top‑line and bottom‑line growth.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related Management field.
• 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Result‑oriented mindset with entrepreneurial attitude.
