Commercial Planning Specialist

About the role

Join a global leader in the transition to a smoke‑free future as a Commercial Planning Specialist. You will work closely with sales, inventory, and category teams to build accurate forecasts and drive the S&OP process, supporting strategic decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales data to produce 18‑month top‑down and bottom‑up forecasts.
• Collaborate with Operations Control Services (OCS) to monitor inventory levels and with category teams to estimate launch volumes.
• Coordinate monthly internal stakeholder meetings for timely Integrated Business Planning (IBP) submissions.
• Lead the commercial side of the S&OP process and provide short‑ and long‑term strategy recommendations.
• Identify competitive gaps using market maps, dashboards, and industry reports.
• Create and maintain KPI reporting (Sales Scorecard, OGSM) using Power BI and DAX queries.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business or strategic planning, preferably with information systems exposure.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Fluent English and proficient use of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Required skills

• Power BI – writing DAX queries.
• SQL and basic database management (plus).
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and forecasting.
