EHR Implementation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced EHR Implementation Specialist to lead the onboarding of healthcare clients onto new electronic health record platforms. You will act as the technical bridge between the product team and medical practices, ensuring smooth go‑lives, clean data migration, and confident end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end EHR system implementations from kickoff through go‑live across diverse practice types.
• Collect and validate practice configurations, including workflows, scheduling rules, billing codes, user roles, and preferences.
• Configure and test integrations between EHR platforms and third‑party tools such as billing, scheduling, and patient‑engagement systems.
• Deliver end‑user training for front‑desk, clinical, and billing staff.
• Maintain SOPs and detailed implementation documentation for each EHR and client type.
• Serve as the primary client‑facing technical contact during the onboarding window.
• Escalate complex technical issues to engineering or vendor support with clear, structured write‑ups.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in EHR implementation, healthcare IT, or clinical systems support.
• Strong understanding of clinical and front‑office workflows.
