Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join a global engineering services leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting field operations across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and local regulations during all field activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial environments using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electrical system diagnostics and field operations in industrial or commercial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and relevant local safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
