About the role

Riphah International University is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its engineering projects and daily operations. The role involves overseeing a team of ten professionals, ensuring projects align with university goals, and delivering high‑quality engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 engineering staff to achieve project and operational targets.
• Plan, organize, and monitor engineering projects from design through completion, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Apply advanced technical problem‑solving to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
• Coordinate with university departments to align engineering initiatives with institutional objectives.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
• Implement best practices and continuous‑improvement processes to boost productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and university policies.
• Prepare and present technical reports and progress summaries to senior leadership.
• Mentor team members, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Manage resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Evaluate new engineering technologies and methodologies for potential adoption.

Required profile

• Minimum of five years of relevant engineering management experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in coordinating multiple engineering initiatives simultaneously.
• Commitment to maintaining high quality, safety, and compliance standards.
