Financial Reporting Manager (Karachi)

About the role

Delmec is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the preparation and delivery of accurate financial statements for five legal entities. Based in Karachi, you will work closely with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll teams to ensure data integrity and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own the general ledger and trial balance across all entities.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Produce operational reports on department performance, project profitability and product margins.
• Review and approve journals, accruals, pre‑payments and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Act as primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate the annual audit.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting efficiency and automation.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting background with hands‑on experience in financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across finance functions.
• Proven experience working with multiple legal entities and complex consolidations.
