General Manager Freight Forwarding

About the role

The General Manager – Freight Forwarding will lead and expand our freight forwarding business in Pakistan. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving growth, optimizing supply‑chain processes and ensuring profitable operations across local and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet revenue, volume and profitability targets.
• Identify and pursue target markets and key accounts to increase market penetration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders both in Pakistan and abroad.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operational performance, service delivery and issue resolution.
• Manage major local and international client accounts.
• Prepare regular business performance reports and forecasts.
• Recruit, lead and develop a high‑performing logistics team.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply‑chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in a relevant field.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven business‑development success.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English and Urdu.
• Self‑driven leader capable of working across cross‑functional and international teams.
