Logistics Operation Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Logistics Operation Assistant to support daily operations at Love Furniture, an online furniture retailer serving Ireland and Northern Ireland. The role is fully remote and works during UK business hours, focusing on coordinating inventory, transport, and delivery activities.

Key responsibilities

• Check stock availability against orders and delivery plans.
• Follow up on missing, delayed, damaged, or unavailable stock.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, customer service, and management.
• Review the daily operations plan and track pending tasks.
• Manage transport schedules and provide delivery updates.
• Report delays, failed deliveries, stock issues, and operational problems.
• Collect and record feedback from drivers, warehouse, and customer service.
• Maintain updates in company systems, spreadsheets, or task tools.
• Prepare daily updates on completed work, pending issues, and delivery status.
• Support management in improving daily workflows.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehouse support, transport coordination, or a similar role.
• Good understanding of inventory, order processing, and delivery follow‑up.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Experience in e‑commerce, furniture, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus.
