Income Tax Executive

About the role

MEP Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Income Tax Executive to join its finance team in Lahore. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing income tax returns, supporting tax planning activities, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file corporate income tax returns.
• Maintain accurate tax records and reconcile tax‑related accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for tax purposes.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external advisors on tax matters.
• Analyze financial data, prepare tax reports and respond to tax queries and audits.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation affecting the company.

Required profile

• Strong accounting foundation with ability to prepare and interpret financial reporting.
• Solid analytical skills to review tax data, identify risks and support decision‑making.
• Experience in income tax return preparation, tax compliance and local tax regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
• High attention to detail, integrity with confidential information and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external authorities.
