Junior Financial Specialist – Restaurant Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Financial Specialist to join the Accounts & Finance team of an international food chain in Dhoraji Colony, Karachi. The role focuses on daily accounting, sales reconciliation, and supporting the financial health of the restaurant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and data entry.
• Perform daily sales reconciliation (POS vs. cash/card/online receipts).
• Verify revenue reports and deposit records.
• Manage petty cash, operational expenses, and salary disbursement.
• Maintain invoices, vouchers, and other financial documentation.
• Coordinate with store staff for stock consumption and inventory reports.
• Assist with monthly inventory counting, stock valuation, and food‑cost monitoring.
• Prepare weekly and monthly expense summaries for the branch.
• Handle bank dealings, fund transfers, and support month‑end closing.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and audit requirements.

Required profile

• B.Com or M.Com – Finance preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in restaurant, hotel, or retail environments.
• Hands‑on experience with POS systems and daily reconciliation.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software / ERP.
• Experience using POS systems for sales reconciliation.
• Understanding of inventory management and food costing.

What we offer

• Salary range PKR 80,000 – 100,000 per month.
• One meal per day provided.
