Lecturer in Cyber Security and Information Security

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a Lecturer in Cyber Security and Information Security to join its faculty in Islamabad. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality lectures, develop course materials, and guide students through practical and research projects in the rapidly evolving field of information security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver lectures and tutorials on cyber security, network security, cryptography and ethical hacking.
• Create syllabi, presentations, assessments and laboratory exercises aligned with current industry standards.
• Supervise student projects, dissertations and lab work, providing constructive feedback.
• Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities and counter‑measures, and contribute to academic publications.
• Perform risk assessments and develop security frameworks for simulated environments.
• Collaborate with academic peers to continuously improve course content and participate in departmental meetings.

Required profile

• Master of Science in Cyber Security or Information Security from an HEC‑recognized institute.
• Minimum one year of relevant teaching or industry experience.
• Strong academic background with a passion for research and student mentorship.
