Network Engineer – WAN/LAN & Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team and support a complex, layered network infrastructure across data centers, disaster‑recovery sites, regional hubs and all branches. The role involves troubleshooting, design, and proactive monitoring of both wired and wireless environments.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain WAN protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF.
• Manage LAN/WLAN services including DNS, IP addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree and multicast.
• Administer Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco ISR/ASR routers.
• Provide Tier‑1/2/3 support to resolve service degradation or connectivity interruptions.
• Implement and maintain NG‑firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, FortiGate) and related security policies (ACLs, VPN).
• Perform proactive monitoring of 1,000+ devices using SolarWinds or PRTG and handle NMS/Syslog alerts.
• Support wireless access controllers and access points.
• Document network designs, standards and project implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering.
• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work 24 × 7 NOC rotations.
