About the role
SMEC is seeking an Office Assistant to join its Roads and Highways project team in Uthal, Balochistan. The role provides essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations of the project office.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the project team with scheduling, correspondence and general office coordination.
- Handle document processing, filing and maintain organized records.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Prepare meeting logistics, including arranging venues, equipment and materials.
- Maintain overall office orderliness and support day‑to‑day operational needs.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in office support or administrative roles, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Strong organizational, time‑management and communication abilities.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and contribute to a collaborative team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in basic office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
