Plant Automation Engineer

About the role

As a Plant Automation Engineer at Playline International, you will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of advanced automation solutions for our manufacturing facilities. You will work primarily with Siemens control platforms to ensure reliable, safe and efficient production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC control systems using Siemens TIA Portal and S7.
• Create and configure HMI screens for process monitoring with WinCC.
• Integrate automation solutions into existing manufacturing lines to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop, test and maintain PLC programs in line with production and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimise downtime.
• Document system designs, modifications and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver automation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with Siemens control systems (TIA Portal, S7, WinCC).
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Chinese is a plus.
