Production Engineer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Engineer will drive efficient use of manpower, materials, machines and other resources to meet production and business targets. You will work closely with planning, inventory and support teams to ensure smooth plant operations and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly production plans aligned with operational targets.
• Assess plant capacity based on resources and production requirements.
• Coordinate material movement from inventory to the T‑1 area according to schedule.
• Conduct production gap analysis and implement efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Prepare model‑wise weekly production plans reflecting market demand.
• Maintain accurate SAP/WMS data as a key system user.
• Generate and submit daily, weekly and monthly production reports.
• Recommend capacity enhancements based on analysis.
• Adjust production plans promptly based on material availability and plant capacity.
• Ensure 6S implementation and adherence to workplace safety standards.
• Comply with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate capacity and resource utilization.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
