Senior Accountant – Odoo ERP Specialist

About the role

Ahsan & Brothers is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant with deep expertise in Odoo ERP to support and enhance its accounting processes in Lahore. The role focuses on financial reporting, tax compliance, and ERP system optimisation without direct team‑management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial reports in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, recording all financial transactions.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Support periodic audits, provide documentation, and assist external auditors.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting by supplying reliable financial data.
• Utilise Odoo (and comparable platforms such as SAP or Oracle Financials) for efficient financial data processing.
• Assist or lead ERP implementation activities, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve accounting processes within the ERP system.
• Troubleshoot ERP‑related accounting issues and collaborate with finance, operations, and inventory teams to streamline workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross‑functionally.
