Senior Deputy Manager – Finance

About the role

The Senior Deputy Manager – Finance leads financial planning, business analysis, investment evaluation and corporate reporting. The role provides strategic financial insights to support growth, capital allocation and performance while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of business plans, strategic initiatives and expansion opportunities.
• Develop and oversee complex financial models for valuation, forecasting and scenario planning.
• Conduct investment appraisals, feasibility studies and financial due diligence for new projects.
• Evaluate CAPEX proposals using ROI, IRR, NPV, payback period and risk assessments.
• Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and submit group reporting packages in line with corporate requirements.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights.
• Partner with business leaders on strategic planning, budgeting and performance management.
• Mentor and develop finance team members while promoting best practices.

Required profile

• CA / ACCA finalist.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in the corporate sector.
• Strong financial governance, compliance and internal controls.
• Hands‑on experience in financial statement and ratio analysis.
• Effective communication skills.
