Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance (Night Shift)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead accounting and finance operations for a multi‑location U.S. business on a night‑shift schedule. The role will oversee the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls while collaborating with treasury, operations and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day accounting and finance activities across multiple locations, including general ledger, AP, AR and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Review store sales, cash deposits, credit‑card settlements, fuel sales and related reconciliations.
• Monitor property, utility, rent, vendor and operating expenses, investigating variances.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow and management reports, and conduct financial analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, accounting policies, internal controls and audit requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, controls and reporting accuracy.
• Develop and manage the accounting/finance team to meet deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CA/ACCA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in U.S. multi‑location retail, gas stations or convenience stores.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month‑end close, budgeting and internal controls.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and multiple financial processes.
• Availability to work night shifts aligned with U.S. business hours.
