Senior Manager / Director – Enterprise Architect (FAAS, Rapid Innovations)

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Enterprise Architect to define the target state architecture for banking systems, aligning business strategy, technology roadmap, and regulatory requirements. Based in our Rapid Innovations Centre of Excellence in Pakistan, you will support client engagements across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop enterprise‑wide architecture blueprints covering business, application, data, and technology layers.
• Lead architecture for core banking, payments, channels, risk, data management, and integration systems within multi‑portfolio environments.
• Define standards, patterns, and governance models for bank‑wide architecture.
• Support modernization programmes such as cloud migration, API modernization (including BIAN‑aligned service domains), and digital platform development.
• Conduct solution evaluations, technical assessments, and vendor/product comparisons.
• Collaborate with CIO, CTO, risk, cybersecurity, and data leaders to maintain architecture integrity.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10–15 years of technology experience, with at least 5 years in architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of banking domain processes and systems.
• Expertise in cloud platforms, integration frameworks, enterprise data and security architecture.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SABSA.
