Senior Tax Accounting Compliance & Reporting Associate

About the role

Join a globally coordinated tax team delivering integrated compliance and reporting services. As a Senior Associate you will support clients in Karachi with tax compliance, statutory accounts preparation and financial reporting, leveraging EY's technology platforms and extensive network of tax professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with year‑end closings, audit support and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare and file corporate tax returns and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Handle general accounting tasks, credit control and internal optimisation projects.
• Produce management reports, budgeting analyses and competitor financial assessments.
• Monitor day‑to‑day client engagement progress, standardise processes, identify risks and drive performance‑improvement solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive learning culture.
• Ensure adherence to EY Tax Quality guidelines across all deliverables.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
• Proven management experience and ability to work across borders.
• Comfortable handling large volumes of data and complex financial information.
