Structural Draftsman – AutoCAD Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Structural Draftsman to produce accurate structural drawings and blueprints. You will work closely with engineers and architects to translate design concepts into detailed technical documents that meet industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed structural drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Convert designs into technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Review design sketches, notes, and specifications received from architects and engineers.
• Make revisions to plans based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Maintain accurate records of designs, drawings, and related technical documentation.
• Assist in preparing estimates and documentation for project proposals.
• Liaise with construction teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately on‑site.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven experience in structural drafting.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Certification in AutoCAD or similar drafting software (advantage).
• Experience on residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
• Ability to work on‑site as required by project needs.
