System & Network Administrator – IT Infrastructure

About the role

The System & Network Administrator will ensure the reliable operation of Ingredion’s IT infrastructure, including VMware‑based virtual environments and Windows server platforms. You will be responsible for maintaining performance, security, and availability of systems and networks that support critical business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and Windows Server environments.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server, operating systems, core applications, and user accounts (Active Directory/LDAP).
• Monitor system performance, capacity and apply updates, patches and upgrades.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Configure, manage and support LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls and access points.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network connectivity issues.
• Enforce security policies, manage firewalls, antivirus/EDR, IDS/IPS and endpoint security.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and compliance activities.
• Support IT projects, upgrades and infrastructure improvements to ensure high availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of system and/or network administration experience in a reputable organization.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Team‑player attitude with effective stakeholder collaboration.
