Tele Verification Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Tele Verification Officer to join Khushali Microfinance Bank in Islamabad. The role involves conducting telephone verifications of loan applicants before and after disbursement, ensuring data accuracy and supporting credit risk decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑disbursement telephonic verification of borrowers applying for loans.
• Identify discrepancies between customer‑provided information and system data, and report them to the supervisor.
• Carry out post‑disbursement verifications according to prescribed criteria.
• Prepare and submit verification reports to the Supervisor and Credit Risk Manager.
• Conduct off‑site verifications of third parties such as goldsmiths, guarantors, and co‑borrowers when required.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects or assignments as directed by the Credit Risk Manager.

Required profile

• Graduation degree, preferably in management sciences or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer handling, call centre, or credit verification within a financial institution.
