Product Manager – Commercial Vehicle

About the role

The Product Manager – Commercial Vehicle will design, launch and manage financing solutions for trucks, buses, pickups and other commercial transport assets. You will work closely with credit, risk, recovery and sales teams to build products that match the cash‑flow patterns of transport operators while protecting asset quality and residual value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and introduce financing products for new and used commercial vehicles, including flexible structures such as deferred payments, seasonal balloons and step‑down profit rates.
• Conduct market research on competitor pricing, residual values and depreciation trends.
• Collaborate with Credit and Risk to develop underwriting models specific to transport operators.
• Manage relationships with manufacturers, dealerships and transport associations to generate business.
• Oversee recovery, repossession and remarketing processes to protect residual values.
• Monitor portfolio performance – delinquencies, ticket size, repossessions and product yield – and optimise pricing and risk‑based fees.
• Drive digitalisation of applications, vehicle valuation, document collection and disbursement to reduce turnaround time.
• Provide branch training on commercial vehicle segmentation, risk assessment and product features.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics from an HEC‑recognised university.
• 3–5 years of experience in product management, auto finance or commercial lending within a bank or leasing company.
• Prior experience with commercial vehicle financing or asset‑backed lending.
• Understanding of vehicle registration, hypothecation and repossession processes.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills for portfolio MIS, vintage analysis and delinquency tracking.
