Territory Sales Manager – Shakargarh

About the role
The Territory Sales Manager will lead a sales team and large‑scale distributors to execute company strategies in the Shakargarh region. You will be responsible for driving short‑term objectives while building long‑term market share in the FMCG sector.
Key responsibilities
- Set SMART objectives aligned with the Annual Operating Plan and cascade them to the territory team.
- Estimate category development potential and create growth plans for each product line.
- Implement action plans, monitor volume targets, brand and pack deliverables, and take corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate financial and sales data flow to senior management and manage trade discounts.
- Track distributor ROI, propose profitability improvements, and enforce quality controls such as FIFO and stock management.
- Identify untapped channels, new towns, and optimal rack productivity to increase market share.
- Analyze competitor activity, propose promotions with positive financial impact, and support new product launches.
- Maintain a regular physical presence in the territory to understand customer needs and provide coaching to the sales force.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of field sales experience in the FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing & Sales preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, prioritisation, and sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially complex Excel and PowerPoint tasks.
