About the role
Wärtsilä is seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join its marine and energy team. This position offers hands‑on technical experience combined with classroom training, allowing you to develop core engineering skills while supporting daily operational activities.
Key responsibilities
- Learn and develop technical competencies through on‑the‑job training and classroom sessions.
- Perform a variety of tasks assigned by the team leader and manager.
- Ensure completeness and quality of routine activities in daily work.
Required profile
- Minimum 70% aggregate marks in DAE (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High integrity, ownership, and self‑motivation.
- Fluency in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
