Business Development Specialist – IT Recruitment & Staffing

About the role
HireOn, a fast‑growing recruitment and talent acquisition startup, is looking for a Business Development Specialist to drive client acquisition in the US technology market. You will work remotely from Lahore, meeting the team twice a week on‑site, and will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships and closing recruitment service contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients within the US technology ecosystem.
- Generate qualified leads through outbound channels such as LinkedIn, email outreach, referrals and networking.
- Conduct discovery meetings with founders, CTOs, HR leaders and talent acquisition teams to understand hiring challenges.
- Develop customized proposals and presentations and manage the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity reports.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
- Contribute ideas to improve lead generation, sales processes and market expansion.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 + years of business development, sales or account management experience in IT services, software development or recruitment staffing.
- Proven track record of selling services to US‑based clients.
- Strong understanding of outbound sales methodologies and lead generation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with decision‑makers.
