Full Stack Engineer – Java, Spring Boot & React

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications. You will work on both backend services using Java and Spring Boot and frontend interfaces with React (or Angular), delivering end‑to‑end solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices and APIs (REST and SOAP).
• Build and enhance web front‑ends using React JS (or Angular).
• Implement data interchange using JSON and XML, and handle serialization/deserialization.
• Apply design patterns and architectural best practices; conduct design reviews.
• Implement encryption (AES, RSA, TLS) and ensure secure communication.
• Oversee production deployments with zero‑downtime, rollback mechanisms, and post‑deployment monitoring.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) with automated testing.
• Create and optimise database schemas and queries for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle; experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) is a plus.
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and QA teams; mentor junior developers.
