HSE Coordinator – Plant Safety & Compliance

About the role

Gatron (Industries) Limited is looking for an HSE Coordinator to support safe plant operations, strengthen workplace safety practices, and coordinate health, safety and environmental compliance activities at its Hub, Balochistan facility.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine plant inspections, identify unsafe conditions and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support hazard identification, risk assessments and job safety analyses for production, maintenance and contractor activities.
• Monitor compliance with permit‑to‑work procedures, energy isolation, PPE requirements and safe practices for high‑risk activities.
• Coordinate incident and near‑miss reporting, assist investigations and track preventive actions to closure.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
• Support emergency preparedness, fire safety inspections and evacuation drills.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports and performance statistics; assist with audits and regulatory documentation.
• Promote safe chemical handling, good housekeeping, waste segregation and responsible environmental practices.

Required profile

• DAE in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Technology, or a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or Occupational Health & Safety.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant, preferably in polyester, textile, plastics or chemical operations.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate preferred; additional training in fire safety, first aid and incident investigation is an advantage.
• Strong observation, communication and reporting skills with the ability to engage shop‑floor teams and follow through on corrective actions.
