Accountant – Multiple Client Portfolio (Immediate Hiring)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accountant to manage a diverse client portfolio and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role involves day‑to‑day transaction recording, month‑end close, and compliance with IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and journals.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with proper account classification.
• Post accruals, pre‑payments, and adjusting entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile all balance‑sheet accounts (receivables, payables, intercompany, etc.).
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, calculate depreciation and track asset movements.
• Assist with inventory accounting and reconciliations when required.
• Maintain organized accounting records and ensure timely posting in accounting systems.
• Monitor data integrity within financial systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ACC​A, CA or ACMA qualification (part‑qualified or qualified preferred).
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho or QuickBooks.
