About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Associate to support our outsourced accounting operations and manage day‑to‑day financial workflows for multiple clients. The role involves handling a broad range of general accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while working night shifts to serve US‑based clientele.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, financial data entry, and expense coding for assigned client portfolios.
  • Manage transactional workflows across general ledgers, assist with accounts payable/receivable, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
  • Conduct hands‑on reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, customer accounts, and balance‑sheet items, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Support month‑end close activities, including journal entry preparation, accrual tracking, and prepayment management.
  • Assist in broader financial close processes and compile data for timely, comprehensive client reports.
  • Work within various client accounting platforms and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or Xero while adhering to internal and client controls.
  • Coordinate with client management, internal teams, and client stakeholders to ensure transparent and accurate financial data flow.

Required profile

  • ACCA or CA part‑qualified, or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of core accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑location, retail, corporate, or shared services environment.
  • Strong practical understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, accruals, and month‑end close procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and client‑facing communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to work permanent onsite night shifts supporting US‑based clients.

Required skills

  • Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, data analysis formulas).
  • Hands‑on experience with accounting/ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or Xero.
