Accounts Executive

About the role

Avanceon, a multinational corporation with 24 years of experience in automation, control systems integration and energy management, is looking for an Accounts Executive. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of the group's financial information through a wide range of accounting tasks, including financial statements, revenue recognition, project accounting and reconciliations, and involves taking part in project monitoring meetings and responding to assignments from the Chief Financial Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Perform monthly revenue recognition under IFRS-15.
• Charge project inventory monthly based on verified delivery notes, and charge timesheet data monthly based on engineering confirmation.
• Daily validate projects won and entered by salespeople, and change orders entered by procurement, in the Management System Group Platform (MSGP).
• Hold bi-monthly project monitoring meetings with project managers.
• Review and finalise intercompany reconciliations, petty cash, accruals, fixed assets and other financial records.
• Complete additional assignments as directed by the CFO.

Required profile

• ACCA, CA, ACCA/CA Inter or equivalent professional qualification.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy
