Aerodynamics Engineer

About the role

Join Turkish Aerospace Pakistan as an Aerodynamics Engineer and contribute to cutting‑edge aircraft development programs. You will work in a collaborative environment that values curiosity, innovation, and the pursuit of aerospace excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft conceptual layout and design studies.
• Conduct aerodynamic analyses using low‑fidelity tools such as DATCOM, OpenVSP and AVL.
• Create detailed external CAD models of aircraft structures.
• Prepare CFD simulations: geometry cleanup, mesh generation and setup.
• Run CFD analyses on high‑performance computing clusters and manage the resulting data.
• Extract, post‑process and interpret aerodynamic data to guide design modifications.
• Write concise technical reports and deliver presentations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with a CGPA greater than 3.0.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft design, aerodynamics, stability and performance.
• Good understanding of broader engineering disciplines.
• Excellent communication, documentation and writing abilities.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly disciplined work ethic and strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft design and aerodynamics.
• Hands‑on experience with the full CFD workflow (CAD → mesh → simulation → data).
• Proficiency in CATIA, ANSYS FLUENT, Python and MATLAB.
• Experience with low‑fidelity tools: DATCOM, OpenVSP, AVL.
• Familiarity with high‑performance computing (HPC) clusters.
