Agreement & Billing Specialist

About the role

A full-time Agreement & Billing Specialist is sought with 3-5 years of experience in contract administration, agreement management and billing, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment. The role covers reviewing customer contracts, MSAs and SOWs and configuring agreements in ConnectWise Manage so that services, pricing, billing terms and service coverage are correctly reflected.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer contracts, MSAs, SOWs, amendments and renewals to identify services, pricing, quantities, billing frequency and terms.
• Set up and maintain agreements, service additions, billing cycles and renewal settings in ConnectWise Manage.
• Check quotes, proposals and sales opportunities against signed contracts and flag discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, Service Delivery and Finance so projects match the contract.
• Identify out-of-scope services and ensure approved change orders or amendments are obtained before extra work.
• Track contract expiries and renewals, and run periodic audits of billing accuracy.
• Reconcile agreement additions against vendor bills, including Pax8 and Microsoft CSP subscriptions, and support Finance with month-end reviews and billing disputes.
• Maintain contract records, reporting trackers and documentation, and generate reports on renewals, pricing changes and billing discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field; equivalent experience also considered.
• 3+ years in contract administration, billing or finance operations, preferably in an MSP or IT services setting.
• Strong understanding of MSP billing models (recurring, fixed-fee, project-based, time-and-materials).
• Knowledge of contract-to-cash processes, revenue recognition and internal audit requirements.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with ConnectWise Manage agreements, additions, billing cycles and invoicing.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency and billing reconciliation experience.
• NetSuite familiarity (customer, item and billing records) preferred.
• Vendor and distributor billing reconciliation (Pax8, Microsoft CSP) an advantage.
