Alumni Relations Associate

About the role

The Alumni Relations Associate supports the Advancement Office by maintaining high‑quality alumni data, generating insights, and enabling effective engagement, communications, and fundraising initiatives. This data‑driven role blends CRM/database management, reporting, analytics, and operational support to enhance alumni outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update alumni records in the CRM/database, ensuring accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity.
• Conduct regular data cleaning, validation, deduplication, and enrichment activities.
• Track alumni engagement such as events, volunteering, mentoring, communications, and donations.
• Generate regular reports and dashboards on database health, demographics, employment trends, and engagement metrics.
• Segment alumni for strategic outreach, email campaigns, events, and fundraising.
• Verify and update contact and employment information via email, SMS, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Prepare targeted alumni lists, monitor campaign performance, and produce post‑campaign analytics.
• Support alumni surveys, networking, mentorship, career, and fundraising initiatives with data insights.
• Recommend and implement improvements in data collection, management processes, and the alumni portal.

Required profile

• Experience with CRM/database management and data hygiene practices.
• Strong ability to conduct data cleaning, validation, and enrichment.
• Proficiency in generating reports, dashboards, and actionable analytics.
• Capability to segment alumni and support targeted communication campaigns.
