Android Developer

About the role

Milkiyat.com is seeking an Android Developer to build and maintain the mobile experience of its real‑estate marketplace. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Islamabad and works closely with product, design and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality Android applications for Milkiyat.com.
• Implement new features, optimise performance and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers to translate requirements into user‑friendly interfaces.
• Write unit and UI tests, debug issues and ensure code quality and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the mobile stack.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background in mobile application development for Android.
• Ability to work on‑site in Islamabad and communicate clearly in English.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java programming.
• Android SDK, Android Studio and Material Design guidelines.
• RESTful API integration.
• Version control with Git.
• Testing frameworks, debugging tools and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with analytics, crash reporting and app‑store deployment processes (optional).
