Area Sales Manager – Karachi (FMCG)

About the role

Hayat, a leading FMCG company, is looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead its Karachi territory. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor networks, and ensuring strong market execution across multiple product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales, distribution and visibility targets.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans for sustainable growth.
• Manage and strengthen distributor relationships to ensure coverage, service levels and ROI.
• Negotiate annual agreements, promotional plans and trade activities with key customers.
• Lead, coach and develop both distributor and internal sales teams.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor competition and identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure efficient stock management and timely receivable recovery.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions.
• Utilize market intelligence and sales data for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 6–8 years of FMCG sales experience, including prior Area Sales Manager role.
• Proven experience in distributor handling, team leadership and trade marketing.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area and a valid driving licence.
