About the role
We are a UK‑based accounting firm that provides accounting and bookkeeping services to law firms. Our offshore office in Lahore is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team on a full‑time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM PST.
Key responsibilities
- Update banking transactions on client accounting software.
- Manage sales and purchase invoices.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- Run month‑end and year‑end financial reports.
- Process payroll using Sage 50 Payroll.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist clients with year‑end audits.
- Prepare and submit company accounts to Companies House.
- Prepare and submit personal and company tax returns to HMRC.
Required profile
- Fresh graduates to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Qualifications: ACCA, CA, ACMA, CMA, or a minimum of 16 years of education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Required skills
- Sage 50 Payroll
- Proficiency with accounting software
