Assistant Manager – Accounts & Internal Audit

About the role

Malek Foam Industry is seeking a motivated CA Finalist to join the finance team as Assistant Manager – Accounts & Internal Audit. The role offers hands‑on exposure to financial reporting, manufacturing accounting, product costing, inventory controls, ERP processes and internal audit within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, including general ledger reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.
• Review accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank and inventory reconciliations and support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Analyse product costing, bills of materials, production consumption and monitor raw material, WIP and finished‑goods inventory.
• Perform risk‑based internal audits of procurement, production, sales, payroll, cash and fixed assets, and prepare audit observations with recommendations.

Required profile

• CA Finalist from ICAP with completed mandatory training/articles.
• Fresh candidates or up to two years of post‑training experience; articles from a reputable audit firm preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS, ISAs and basic Pakistani tax and corporate requirements.

Required skills

• Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
