Assistant Manager Corporate Accounting

About the role

The Assistant Manager Corporate Accounting will support the Finance department in delivering accurate internal and external financial reporting, month‑end close, and audit coordination for the CMPak Group. The role also involves implementing IFRS updates and enhancing ERP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end month‑end closing activities, including cost accruals, expense recording, variance analysis and preparation of management accounts.
• Prepare and ensure accurate group financial statements in line with IFRS, Companies Act 2017 and other regulations.
• Coordinate with external, internal and group auditors, providing required information and meeting audit timelines.
• Supervise and review the work of junior team members, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analyses and improve balance‑sheet reconciliations to identify risks.
• Enhance ERP reporting processes for the finance function and other departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; CA qualification preferred.
• 3‑4 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, IFRS implementation or audit support.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS and Companies Act 2017.
• Familiarity with auditing standards and regulations in Pakistan.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle ERP (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
