Assistant Manager - Equity Research Analyst

About the role

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Manager – Equity Research Analyst to support its investment decision‑making process. The role involves analysing financial data, building models and presenting investment ideas to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and market trends to support investment decisions and company strategy.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and assess investment opportunities and risks.
• Prepare detailed financial reports using Excel and Bloomberg tools for senior management.
• Articulate investment ideas clearly in verbal presentations and written documents.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather and verify financial information ensuring accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies in financial data and apply problem‑solving skills to resolve them.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and work ethic in all analysis and reporting tasks.
• Stay updated with industry developments and financial regulations to ensure compliance.
• Support the finance team with budgeting, forecasting and routine analysis tasks.
• Assist in evaluating new financial products and investment strategies to maximise company performance.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in financial management or analysis.
• Strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
