Assistant Manager – Sales Reporting

About the role

National Foods Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Sales Reporting function. You will own the Management Information System (MIS) for sales, delivering accurate and timely data analysis that supports strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate on‑time delivery of sales‑related IT projects in partnership with the IT department and external vendors.
• Design and maintain KPIs that effectively measure sales performance.
• Control master data management to ensure data integrity for products, customers and distributors.
• Develop and centralise master‑data systems for efficient use across the sales organization.
• Manage relationships with third‑party providers of secondary sales data.
• Create, review and implement policies and SOPs that support the sales function.
• Identify system gaps, propose action plans and lead training sessions for stakeholders.
• Establish a robust Sales MIS foundation and promote data‑driven decision making.
• Oversee the preparation, approval and distribution of all MIS reports.
• Standardise MIS procedures across business applications and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage the MIS team, including recruitment, supervision, development and performance evaluation.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (any discipline).
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in sales reporting, MIS or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with a business‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts, negotiate and solve problems effectively.
• Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting and product knowledge is preferred.
